About this project: This property was over 34 years old and the asphalt was maintained over the years by sealcoating and doing some minor and major repairs. The condition before the project began showed several areas of cracking and failed asphalt.
Mike Bowbeer at City Service Paving, determined the most cost effective solution would be performing a 2” overlay over the entire asphalt in the community. The overlay reset the asphalts useful life expectancy to approximately 20 to 25 years and possibly longer before the HOA would have to consider doing another major rehabilitation project.
